An identity has dexterously been reached in the wake of Asia Lacy's forthright track, Hide In Me.

Lacy's Hide In Me aims to be a fleshed diary under lock-and-key for her partner's most concealed emotions. And man, does it sound good.

A strummy, limpid-sounding main riff opens the song and brings with it a liberated movement. You can almost picture the finger placement of each chord, standing in like a guide for the music. And once it leads to the hug of her warmish chord progression, particularly the closing progression, there is an emotional reading of knowing someone genuinely cares for your well-being. HIM's finger crawling bassline grounds theses two together, boosting this feeling of security from the song. However, the safe space Asia's production builds would be misplaced without her amenable vocals.

Asia Lacy's starry melody presents a transparency in herself. When she holds notes or runs deepening harmonies throughout her vocals, out pumps trust into whatever it is she's showing through her transparency. Listening to her sing on Hide In Me draws to mind the Fountain of Dreams stage from the Kirby series in Super Smash Bros. Melee. There's a vibrancy and natural fall in her voice. And it takes no time to get stuck in.

Hide In Me continues that musical swoon the Lacy's awesomely carry. So I hope you're ready to confide into the music.
